Teenager stabbed in violent brawl in Sydney’s west

A 17-year-old boy is in a serious condition after being stabbed in a violent street brawl in Sydney’s west.
Police were alerted to the situation at Lidcombe Remembrance Park on Kerrs Road at about 11.10pm last night, where they found the boy with multiple stab wounds to his leg and torso.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital.

Early police investigations suggest the boy was involved in a brawl with a group of men who fled the scene.
Forensic specialists continue to investigate the circumstances.
