Teenager charged after alleged violent attempted car theft in Adelaide
A teenager has been arrested after he allegedly attacked a man while trying to steal a car in Adelaide last night.
The young man approached the car owner as he was getting out of his vehicle in Rostrevor at 11.15pm and allegedly punched him several times while he demanded his vehicle.
Police were told the vehicle owner fought off the teenager.

He sustained head injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police arrived and arrested a teenager, who was allegedly armed with a knife.
The 18-year-old man was charged with aggravated robbery, assault police and illegal interference.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
The vehicle was towed from the scene for forensic examination.
