Teenage cashier held-up during armed robbery on the Gold Coast

A teenage girl has been held-up by a man with a knife at a fast food restaurant in Tugun, on the Gold Coast.
Police believe the armed man entered the Red Rooster store on the Gold Coast Highway around 11.15am.
He demanded money from the female store attendant, who was behind the front counter.

Her manager then came to the front of the store and handed over a sum of cash.
No one was injured.
The offender then fled the scene on foot.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 30 years old with brown hair and was wearing a tracksuit at the time of the incident.
