Teen to face court after alleged hit-and-run in Sydney
A 16 year-old learner driver has been charged after he allegedly smashed into a pedestrian in Sydney.
He and his passenger, also 16, were allegedly caught on camera taking off on foot in Sydney's west last night.
The car was seen ditched against a fence in Fairfield missing a passenger door.

An innocent pedestrian was collected by the out-of-control car.
The 66-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Witness Leon Cinque said he saw a man laying down next to my fence after watching what he said was like "an action movie".
"His legs were very painful, and I think maybe his ribs," he said.
"The car hit him, went flying through the air, ended up next to my fence."
Just before 11pm security cameras allegedly caught the 16-year-old behind the wheel pulling up to turn onto Sackville Street, before the carnage began.
Police claim he and his passenger ran off but officers weren't far behind, with both boys found on Nelson Road.

The 16-year old learner driver faces a string of charges include causing bodily harm by misconduct, failing to stop and driving unaccompanied.
He was given conditional bail and will appear before a children's court on Monday, August 4.
