Man tasered after 20 thugs storm into Melbourne home

A man was tasered after up to 20 thugs burst into his Melbourne home

Windows were smashed and walls and doors were pelted with weapons during the home invasion in Cranbourne West.

Armed thugs smashed their way in using car batteries, before attacking the 20-year-old man with a taser. The house is home to a baby girl.

It was an apparent revenge attack over a stolen motorbike.

It’s not the first time the family has been targeted - last weekend a gang stormed the house wielding knives and bats.

The man’s brother, who wasn’t home at the time, said it was ‘an overreaction.’

‘I ran out here, as far as I can go, we hid in the back of someone’s car," he said.

“I just feel bad for the neighbours. These people don’t deserve this, we don’t deserve this."

Jewellery and other valuables were taken, and police attended.

While CCTV caught the culprits, they ripped out the system’s computer.
