A Japanese tourist hurt in a fall at the summit of Tasmania's Cradle Mountain has been flown to hospital.
The 63-year-old woman suffered a head injury when she fell two metres down an embankment as she walked with friends on Thursday afternoon, Tasmanian police say.
Search and rescue officers met the party at a nearby hut and walked the woman to helicopter paramedics, who flew her to the North West Regional Hospital.
