Hobart's behind-schedule hospital refurbishment is one of three delayed Tasmanian Liberal government initiatives, according to the state's latest quarterly report card.

Between March and June the government completed 59 projects - across the areas of jobs, health, education, the economy and helping the vulnerable - while three were "delayed due to external factors", Attorney-General Vanessa Goodwin said on Monday.

"Due to the need for rectification works by the builder (at no cost to taxpayers), the original handover date for the temporary (hospital forecourt building) facility will not be met," the report read, noting its overall completion date was on track for the end of 2018.
