Severe weather warning for Tasmania

Tasmania is again being blasted by strong winds, with Hobart recording gusts of up to 104km/h.

The Bureau of Meteorology on Monday issued a severe weather warning across western, central, eastern and southern areas for damaging winds as a cold front passes over the state in the afternoon.

The forecast follows more than a week of rough weather which included snow, flooding, and winds which caused property damage across the island state.
