Officer suspended over child images

A Tasmanian police officer will face court accused of possessing child pornography.

The senior constable has been suspended on full pay after being charged by summons with possessing child exploitation material relating to three images, a statement issued on Friday said.

The officer will face Hobart Magistrates Court on May 12.
