Human remains identified as Tasmanian man

Police have confirmed that human remains found in northern Tasmania belong to a man missing since 2012.

Andrew John Jarman, 35, of Latrobe, was reported missing in August 2012 after failing to return from a bike ride, sparking a widespread search.

Human remains were found in the area in October and following forensic examination, detectives on Tuesday confirmed they belonged to Mr Jarman and that there are no suspicious circumstances linked to his death.
