Target has recalled a stool over fears the legs are too weak and could collapse.

The Arlo Barstool has been recalled by Target over concerns it could collapse.  Target

The Arlo Bar Stool was sold between January 30, 2021 and October 5 this year, both online and in stores.

"The stool legs are not strong enough and may collapse when weight is applied," Target warned in its recall.

The stool has a thatched or woven seat.

Target has warned users could be seriously injured if the stool collapses.

Customers have been told to "immediately cease using the stool".

They are asked to dismantle and dispose of it.

Shoppers can get a full refund, but they will need to send photographic evidence of the stool being dismantled and thrown away.

Otherwise, they can also visit a store for a refund.
