Man dies after being hit by car in Sydney

A man has died after being struck by a car early this morning on Sydney’s northern beaches.
The man, aged in his 20s, was hit by the vehicle on Wakehurst Parkway in Frenchs Forest and died at the scene, NSW Police say.

The male driver of the vehicle was taken for mandatory blood and urine tests.
The Wakehurst Parkway was closed in both directions between Aquatic Drive and Kirkwood Street.
