Head-on crash causing traffic delays on Sydney Harbour Bridge

Motorists are being warned to expect major delays on the Sydney Harbour Bridge this morning due to a head-on crash by a motorcycle and car.

They collided about 6.45am, causing the closure of two northbound lanes on the bridge, along with one southbound lane.

Northbound traffic is heavy and queued back to the Anzac Bridge and is also heavy on the Cahill Expressway.

There are major delays on the Sydney Harbour Bridge following a two-vehicle crash. Nine

Southbound traffic on the Warringah Freeway is queued back to Cammeray.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and follow the directions of traffic crews and emergency services on site.

Buses are delayed in both directions, so passengers should also factor in extra travel time.
