Man killed after being hit by car in Melbourne's west
A man has died after he was hit by a car in Melbourne's west.
Police have been told the man walked onto Ballarat Road in Sunshine, near the intersection of Anderson Road, before he was struck by a car just before 8.30pm yesterday.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The 42-year-old female driver stopped at the scene to help.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage of it is urged to contact police.
The man's death takes the number of lives lost on Victorian roads this year to 193, compared to the 168 deaths recorded at this time last year.
