Boy, 11, dies after being hit by a bus on the Sunshine Coast
An 11-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a bus while riding his bike on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Police said the bus was travelling along Jingellic Drive near Karawatha Drive in Buderim about 3.45pm when it hit the boy.
He suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where he died.

The bus driver, a man aged in his 60s, is uninjured and being questioned by police.
The forensic crash unit is investigating.
