Stereosonic's 'line-dancing chicken' laughs off online brouhaha
One third of the shirtless Stereosonic dance trio that drove a wedge through Facebook's self-appointed culturati over the weekend says he couldn't care less what the haters think of his dance moves.
"Put it this way, we go out and have a good time, if people don't like it, they can say what they want," Quakers Hill local Adrian Gatt told ninemsn.
Since the footage appeared online, Mr Gatt and his two mates, George and Stefan, have been described, among other, less kind things, as looking like a "bunch of line-dancing chickens" – but the dance, Mr Gatt says, was totally spontaneous.
"I don't know how it came together!" the 23-year-old plumber said.
Although the three friends are able to laugh off the online attention, Mr Gatt is nonetheless a little bewildered by peoples' need to pass judgement on what was merely a harmless bit of fun.
"That's how we enjoy ourselves," he said.
"It was a good day, we enjoyed ourselves and no one (in the group) got hurt."
