Video busts myth venomous snakes can't climb
A snake catcher has a video which busts the myth that venomous snakes can't climb.
Steven Brown, from Brisbane North Snake Catchers, was called to remove a snake from from a customer's Narangba house in the Moreton Bay region.
There he found an eastern brown snake deftly slithering up a tree.

"It's a myth, all snakes can climb to a certain extent. I have photos of a eastern brown snake hanging out of a roof gutter. When I show people this they soon change their mind," he said.
"There are a lot of venomous snakes that are excellent climbers such as the Tiger Snake, Rough Scale Snake, Stephens Banded Snake."

Brown said the snakes are territorial and would rather spend their time on the ground, looking for prey then up trees. Supplied

The snake in the video was caught and relocated to somewhere safer.
