Venomous snake found hiding in toddler's toybox
An Adelaide family had a chilling close call when they found a venomous snake lurking in a toy box.
The pygmy copperhead was found curled up amid a toddler's playthings.
Snake Catchers Adelaide were called to the Upper Sturt property to resolve the situation.

"Don't see many of these at all," the catcher says on a video of the capture.
The snake appears to be placid, barely reacting as the catcher picks it up by the tail and drops it in a bag.
But the Snake Catchers Adelaide website warns that despite their small size and general timidity, the pygmy copperhead's bite is considered dangerous to humans and pets.
