Small businesses will get a tax cut from July after the Senate passed a budget package with little debate.
Labor and the Australian Greens backed the package, which includes a $20,000 instant asset write off on an unlimited number of purchases and a 1.5 per cent tax cut.
Debate lasted just over an hour in the Senate after the package was dealt with as top priority on Monday.
