Gunshots fired into Sydney house with five people inside

An investigation is under way after gunshots were fired into a home in Sydney's north west.

Police officers responded to calls that gunshots were fired into a house on Lucas Road in Seven Hills about 11am.

Five people, including four adults and one teenager, were in the house when the gunshots went off.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

A crime scene has been established, with inquiries indicating that the gunshots may have been fired in the early morning.

Lucas Road, Seven Hills, is currently blocked between Quinn Avenue and Morris Street. while police continue to investigate.
