Severe thunderstorm heading north towards Kingaroy after dumping hail in rural south-east Queensland

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Dalby, South Burnett and Toowoomba regions, as a strong hail storm rolls north.
Wild storms earlier affected Stanthorpe, Goondiwindi and Toowoomba, with one Instagram user capturing the damage caused by winds and hail in her Goondiwindi backyard.

A dangerous storm was detected east of Dalby tracking towards Kingaroy about 8pm, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) advised.
It is forecast to affect the area south-west of Kingaror by 8.55pm (AEST).
