A fisherman's body has been found after he and two other men - who have since been found alive - fell out of a tinnie in Queensland's Fitzroy River.

The trio was fishing at The Narrows in Keppel Bay when they fell overboard from their 5.3-metre tinnie yesterday afternoon.

Concerned family members raised the alarm with police at about 9pm.

A frantic search was launched and two of the men were found by a rescue helicopter on a beach about 3am today.

Authorities this afternoon found a body in the Fitzroy River which is believed to be the missing man.

He is expected to be formally identified this afternoon and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

The Fitzroy River is a known crocodile habitat.
