Seafood labelling petition to Senate

Almost 50,000 Australians have urged the government to label the seafood they buy or eat so they know what part of the world it comes from.
Greens senator Peter Whish-Wilson on Thursday tabled a 46,000-signature petition to the Senate calling for country-of-origin labelling for all seafood sold in Australia.
"This is a very popular campaign," he told the parliament, adding that Australians should know what environment their seafood was grown in.
