Sam Burgess pleads not guilty to intimidating father-in-law
Retired NRL superstar Sam Burgess has pleaded not guilty to intimidating his father-in-law.
Burgess did not appear in Moss Vale Local Court when the matter was heard on today, but lawyer Bryan Wrench entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.

The former South Sydney captain was charged and had an apprehended violence order taken out against him following the alleged incident at father-in-law Mitchell Hooke's NSW Southern Highlands home in October.
The matter was adjourned until June 26.

Burgess, an England and Great Britain international, announced his retirement on October 30, having failed to recover from a chronic shoulder injury.
