Woman hurt in SA house fire

A woman has suffered burns in a house fire in the South Australian Riverland.

Fire crews were called to the Renmark property early on Friday and took an hour to quell the blaze, the Metropolitan Fire Service says.

The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to minor burns while other members of her family escaped unharmed.

The fire caused $65,000 damage and the cause is being investigated.
