Woman falls from Adelaide building

A woman has suffered serious injuries after falling about 10 metres from the roof of a building in Adelaide.

Police and paramedics were called to James Place in the CBD at about 6am on Monday after the 30-year-old's fall.

They will speak to the woman as her condition improves but have charged a 41-year-old man who was with her at the time of the incident with being unlawfully on premises.

He will be summonsed to face court at a later date.
