Woman dies after SA scooter, car crash

An elderly woman hit by a car as she rode her mobility scooter in suburban Adelaide has died in hospital.

The 87-year-old woman from Plympton was riding the scooter when it crashed with a car at Kurralta Park on Tuesday.

She was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries but died Sunday morning, taking the state road toll to 69 compared to 76 at this time last year.
