A woman who allegedly used the ATM card of a suspected murder victim has been arrested near Adelaide.

The 55-year-old has been charged with theft after allegedly withdrawing money from the account of Jody Meyers, who went missing in August and is thought to be dead.

The woman has been bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on September 30, police say.

Ms Meyers, 20, was last seen leaving a property near Murray Bridge, east of Adelaide, on August 26.

Police have questioned her partner, Neil Archer, who they have named as their only person of interest.

Earlier this month, police divers searched an area along the Murray about 20 kilometres downstream from Mannum while mounted patrols searched roads in the Mannum area, looking for Ms Meyer's phone and engagement ring.

At that time police also seized CCTV footage believed to show a person accessing the missing woman's bank account at a local ATM.
