Weatherill rules out Xenophon SA coalition

South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill has ruled out joining forces with the Nick Xenophon Team to form government after the state's 2018 election.

Mr Weatherill says he wants a "united, stable and certain" majority Labor government and will not form a coalition with the NXT.

"What we don't want is a rabble which is made up of every single conservative splinter group that seems to be emerging in South Australian politics," he told ABC radio on Tuesday.
