Union to rally at Australia Post in SA

Communication Workers Union members in Adelaide will rally against proposed changes to Australia Post services.

They are concerned proposed changes will slow up some mail deliveries and create a two-speed service.

Union members will gather at the Torrensville Plaza post shop at Mile End from 1pm on Thursday.

"Australia Post made an underlying profit of $517 million last year," assistant national secretary Martin O'Nea said.

"These proposals are designed to fatten up the business for privatisation."
