Two rescued from floods near Adelaide

Two people have been rescued after their van became stranded in a flooded creek crossing south of Adelaide.

The van got about halfway across a 300-metre flooded section of a road at Currency Creek on Tuesday when it stalled.

State Emergency crews rescued the pair and a spokesman said they were a bit wet and cold but otherwise unhurt.

Images posted on Twitter showed water up to the van's axles.
