Two boys arrested over SA school vandalism

Three boys aged seven, ten and eleven are accused of vandalising an Adelaide school.

Police say the trio broke into the Forbes Primary School just before 6pm on Monday and caused significant damage by splashing paint over the walls, ripping up carpets and damaging electronic equipment.

The group set off an alarm and when police arrived tried to flee but were quickly detained.

The 10 and 11-year-old boys were arrested and charged with trespass and property damage while the seven-year-old was cautioned.

The two older boys will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.
