Two arrested over Adelaide suburbs pursuit

A man and woman have been arrested for allegedly leading police on a car chase in Adelaide's northern suburbs.

Police say they tried to pull the car over at 5am on Thursday at Elizabeth East after noticing it had incorrect registration plates.

But police eventually caught up with the pair after pursuing the car through backstreets to Salisbury Heights when the car clipped a parked bus and the man and woman attempted to flee.
