Ticket sales surge for Adelaide Festival

Ticket sales for the 2017 Adelaide Festival have surged with demand the highest for more than 20 years.
A week from the official opening, festival organisers say box office sales have topped $3 million with strong demand across the entire program.
The Festival features 31 theatre, music, opera, dance, film and visual arts events including 16 Australian premieres, 17 events exclusive to Adelaide and three world premieres over 17 days from March 3 to 19.
