Three to face trial over Doelz murder

Adelaide murder victim Jayson Doelz suffered a stab wound to the neck and blunt head trauma, and was strangled with a cord or electrical cable, a court has heard.

Three men charged over the 2012 killing pleaded not guilty to his murder on Friday in Adelaide Magistrates Court and were committed to stand trial in the Supreme Court.

Kym Wayne Barnes, Shane Matthew Muckray and Chad Badcock will be arraigned on June 5 with magistrate Paul Foley lifting suppression orders on their names.

Prosecutor Karen Ingleton said Mr Doelz also suffered lacerations to his lips, was hit in the head with a shovel, and bled heavily during the beating at a property at Pooraka shortly before his body was found dumped at Kersbrook, in the Adelaide Hills.

A fourth person, Terrilee Jordan, has been charged with assisting the three men in relation to the bashing of Mr Doelz.

It's alleged she helped clean the house, including removing blood from the floor and walls.

Defence counsel Andrew Ey argued Jordan had no case to answer but Mr Foley rejected his arguments.

Jordan is also expected to appear in the Supreme Court on June 5 but will first return to the magistrates' court on May 18 for a review of her bail conditions.
