Pedestrian and two cyclists hit by out-of-control van
A driver suffering a medical episode may have caused a serious crash in Adelaide which left a pedestrian fighting for his life and two cyclists also hurt.
The 44-year-old pedestrian was admitted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical condition after being hit by a van on Military Road at West Beach at about 10.20am today.
The two cyclists, a 41-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy, were admitted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after they were also struck.

Police say major crash investigators are looking into the possibility the driver of the van, a 55-year-old man, suffered a medical episode before the crash.
They have asked for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
