Three fires have been deliberately lit at a TAFE in Adelaide, sparking fears ahead of a day of dangerous bushfire conditions.

Police and fire crews responded to reports of a fire in a toilet block at the Elizabeth TAFE campus, north of the CBD, just after 10am Tuesday.

The fire was extinguished by MFS firefighters, but the asbestos toilet block will need to be demolished and removed.

While emergency services were on the scene, two other fires were reported at a nearby rubbish bin and inside a building.

Police say they are particularly concerned by the arson attacks in the lead-up to a day of catastrophic fire danger in parts of South Australia on Wednesday.
