South Australia police search for driver after they left the scene of Mannum crash
A driver fled a crash in South Australia after a Ford Falcon was practically torn in half.
Officers spotted a 2005 red Ford Falcon sedan "driving erratically" at about 1.30pm yesterday afternoon on Neil Street, Mannum on the west bank of the Murray River.
When the patrol did a U-turn to follow the car, they found it a short distance away on Belvedere Road, where it had hit a Honda sedan and stobie pole, before tearing in half.

The driver of the Honda, a 60-year-old man from Mannum, was taken to the Mannum Hospital before being airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford left the scene before police arrived.

Investigations are continuing and police have concerns for the welfare of the Ford driver as he may be injured and in need of medical treatment.
