Snakes entwined in love triangle

Two amorous brown snakes have become entangled in a love triangle, apparently fighting over the affection of a nearby female.

In video uploaded to Instagram the two snakes were spotted at McClaren Vale, south of Adelaide, recently.

They become entwined and then go head to head but there's no clear winner.

Safe to say they were probably both hissed off at the end of the encounter.
