Shark dumped in SA roadside puddle dies
AAP
Despite putting in a good fight, a small shark found in a roadside puddle in South Australia on Friday has died.
Earlier police ruled out a possible 'sharknado' to explain how the shark, believed to be of the Port Jackson variety, wound up in a puddle at One Tree Hill where it was found by a passerby.
Fauna Rescue SA retrieved and cared for the animal, but say it has since died.

Police believe the shark was likely dumped in the puddle after being caught while fishing or kept as a pet that grew too large for its tank.
