A high-ranking South Australian police officer is reportedly under investigation over a crash in the Adelaide Hills.
Assistant Commissioner Philip Newitt was driving a car that collided with a motorcyclist on December 28, the Adelaide Advertiser has reported.
The motorcyclist, aged in his 40s, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious head injuries but was discharged in January.
