Search resumes to find missing SA man

A search has resumed for a 79-year-old man missing in South Australia's north.

The Whyalla man, who is experienced in the bush, was last seen on Saturday at a remote station at Angepena, near Leigh Creek, where he was staying.

A search was launched late on Monday night when his car was found by station staff and continued on Tuesday involving the police helicopter, fixed wing aircraft and State Emergency Service volunteers.

It was suspended at nightfall but resumed at first light on Wednesday.
