SA woman fined over emaciated cows

A 63-year-old woman has been fined more than $10,000 for ill-treating 29 cows.

The emaciated and lice-infested animals were found on a property south of Adelaide in 2014 and were seized by RSPCA inspectors.

In the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday, Susan Gristwood pleaded guilty to an ill-treatment offence and was fined $10,500 and banned from having custody of any further cattle.
