SA woman charged with assisting murder

A 55-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with assisting in the disappearance and murder of South Australian woman Jody Meyers.

Neil Archer, 30, has previously been charged with murdering his 20-year-old partner, whose body was found buried under a concrete slab on a Mannum property east of Adelaide.

When he appeared in Adelaide Magistrates Court in September he indicated he would contest the murder charge.

On Monday night SA police said a Mannum woman had been arrested during the day and would appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Ms Meyers was last seen alive on August 26.
