SA woman charged over ice bought online

A 20-year-old Adelaide woman has been charged with drug trafficking after $400,000 of the party drug ice was ordered over the internet.

The woman was arrested on Monday after two packages that contained about 400gm of methylamphetamine, or ice, were intercepted by border protection.

Police said the drugs, imported from India, had a street value of about $400,000.

The woman has been bailed and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on December 5.
