SA woman charged for terminal illness scam
AAP
Police say an Adelaide woman pretended to have a terminal illness so she could scam money from a man she met online.
The 32-year-old woman allegedly formed an online relationship with the victim several years ago and asked him to send her money to help with her treatment.
She was charged with 24 counts of deception and will appear in court at a later date.
