SA woman, 69, more than 5 times limit

A 69-year-old woman won't be allowed back on the road for a year after allegedly being caught drink-driving at more than five times the limit in South Australia's Riverland.

The woman recorded a blood-alcohol reading 0.278 in Berri on Wednesday night, police say.

She had her car impounded, lost her licence for 12 months and has been summonsed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
