SA teenager assaulted at bus stop

A teenage girl has been indecently assaulted behind a bus stop in South Australia.

A man tried to strike up a conversation with the 17-year-old as she sat at the bus stop in Netley, then grabbed her, forcibly pulled her behind the bus shelter and indecently assaulted her.

The girl broke free and ran off.

The man is described as being aged around 20, 170cm tall, clean shaven, with a stocky build, closely cropped brown hair, a round face and thick brown eyebrows.

He was wearing a grey long-sleeved hooded jumper with a white t-shirt underneath and long pants.

The victim suffered minor bruising and scratches to her arms and a leg.

Police are urging any witness to the attack which occurred just after 1pm (CDT) on Wednesday to come forward.
