SA stabbing leads to magic mushrooms find

A drug lab growing magic mushrooms has been found at a home in Adelaide after police responded to reports of a stabbing.

Patrols and paramedics were called to the Hackham West home on Wednesday morning and found a man lying on the road with multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being assaulted by two other men.

A search of the house then found an area used for growing magic mushrooms which contain the controlled drug psilocybin.

Detectives and crime scene examiners have seized a number of items from the house for forensic testing and investigations are continuing.
