SA premier on trade mission to Europe

South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill is leading a trade mission to Europe in a bid to increase the state's $1 billion in annual exports to the region.

Mr Weatherill and Trade Minister Martin Hamilton-Smith will join 64 business delegates from 33 companies in the defence, food and agribusiness sectors as they showcase their capabilities to groups in the UK an France in the coming week.

"Europe is South Australia's most established trading partner, a source of significant foreign investment into South Australia and a major destination for our exports," Mr Weatherill said.
